What is the best part about being a makeup artist? For me personally the best part about being a makeup artist is I have the power to make women feel absolutely beautiful. What I mean by that is that I have the capability to take a blank canvas and create a masterpiece from scratch. No matter none structure or complexion I can create something that gives women an indescribable feeling. There is nothing like getting your hair done, taking the time out to pick out the perfect outfit then your makeup being the icing on the cake. I feel like creating a look is like putting together a puzzle and my piece is by far one the most important to complete that puzzle. I love making women feel as beautiful as I do when I am all glammed up. When interacting with my clients I try to tie in my artistry with self-love. Yes, I have the power to make someone feel beautiful but how do you feel when all makeup comes off. I tell my clients that my makeup means nothing if you do not feel good about yourself on the inside. If you don't have that self-love my makeup will only go so far. I try to encourage my clients to make sure that they're taking care of their mental health. I encourage them to make time for themselves. Tell yourself that you are beautiful, give yourself positive words of encouragement every day. Life can be challenging and you need to give yourself that reassurance that you can make it through every day.
